School bags, books and uniforms for primary students, plus free evening coaching so children from working families don't drop out.
Uttoron Foundation is a Dhaka-based non-profit working with low-income and vulnerable families across Bangladesh. We support children's education, run emergency relief during floods and cold waves, and lead awareness campaigns on health, hygiene and rights. Uttoron means rising above. That is what we want for every person we work with.
Six programme areas shaped by what families in Dhaka's slums, the char lands and rural districts tell us they need most.
School bags, books and uniforms for primary students, plus free evening coaching so children from working families don't drop out.
Monthly food packs for widows, elderly people living alone and families of day labourers, rickshaw pullers and garment workers.
Free medical camps with volunteer doctors, basic medicine, eye check-ups and referrals for mothers, children and the elderly.
Community sessions on child marriage, dengue prevention, safe drinking water, menstrual hygiene and drug abuse.
Rapid response during floods, cyclones and winter: dry food, drinking water, blankets and shelter support for affected districts.
Sewing machines, tailoring and computer training so women and young people can start earning with dignity.
These are the campaigns we are launching in our first season. Every taka raised goes toward the goal shown.
Warm blankets for families in the cold northern districts of Kurigram, Lalmonirhat and Panchagarh, plus street dwellers in Dhaka.
A school bag, notebooks, pens and a uniform for children starting the new academic year in Dhaka's low-income neighbourhoods.
Door-to-door sessions, mosquito nets and leaflets on clearing stagnant water, run by our youth volunteers.
Give once or every month, in Taka through bKash, Nagad, Rocket or bank transfer. Zakat and Sadaqah are accepted and used only for eligible recipients.
Uttoron Foundation was founded in Dhaka in October 2026 by Arman Ahmed and Md. Mainul Islam Zayed, who wanted to give back to their community in an organised, transparent way. We are small and new, so we are starting close to home: Dhaka's low-income communities first, then the flood- and cold-affected districts where help arrives late.
Mission: to help poor and vulnerable people in Bangladesh live with dignity through education, relief, healthcare and awareness.
Vision: a Bangladesh where no child leaves school because of poverty and no family faces a crisis alone.
